Thank you!

So that’s it, our first Kickstarter in the bag!

Just wanted to say how very grateful we are for supporting us - after all the hard work on Stackii and Stowii this is now the moment our little company really gets going.

We’ve got a lot more ideas to come over the coming months and years (sorry wallets!), but first we’ll be working hard to get Stackii to you as soon as we can.

We’ll be working on the backerkit pledge manager next week and will let you know when it’s ready - we’re aiming for the 18th March.

Team Bubba Dawg will be hitting the town for a few celebratory drinks tonight - it’s almost like we planned the campaign to end on a Friday!

Thanks again folks, stay safe and happy gaming

Stackii - the new, unoffical stretch goals!
over 2 years ago – Mon, Feb 28, 2022 at 11:42:27 AM

Hi Everyone, hope you are all good and well?

We are just over half way through the Stackii Kickstarter campaign!

We said at the start that we wouldn't have any stretch goal, for 2 reasons really. Firstly, we didnt want to look silly by setting stretch goal targets we would never get to (!), and secondly - we didn't have any more ideas for Stackii components!

We did hint at some unoffical stretch goals though and thanks to suggestions by you lovely people, we have a couple of new items to bring to you which will be available in the Stackii pedge manager 🎉

Firstly was a suggestion by Daniel over on our Facebook page, who suggested adding an upside down tray that fits on top of the trays to give them more height capacity for larger miniatures etc. After some consideration we came to the conclusion that this is a good idea!

The Dish Extra will allow for miniatures with a  1.5 inch (40mm) base with a deep tray and can also be used as a tray in its own right. It will come with a removable foam insert.

The second component we are bringing to the Stackii table is the Logan Deck Holder, suggested by Gary - well sort of. These fit in the dice tray and come in pairs. They allow for a stack of game cards to be laid flat. They cards lay flat for easy grabidge (I think I might have made that word up). Ideal for games where you have more cards than you would fit in Logan card slots or for cards to select as you go through your game. The 3 deck compartments in each Logan Deck Holder fit a standard playing card size.

Oak Logan Deck Holders in a walnut Dice Tray

I hope these can be of use to some of you and will add to your gaming lives!

All the very best

The free Lids and Big Stacker Fasteners (again)
over 2 years ago – Fri, Feb 25, 2022 at 02:22:20 PM

Hello everyone, hope you are having a good day.

Following on from yesterday's update regarding how the free lids and fasteners were going to work... I was accused of being a bit stingy by Stuart over on our Facebook page 😳  He pointed out that if he wanted to buy say, 5 maple layers and wanted a contrasting lid or fastener, our offer wouldn't allow it; he'd have to have a maple freebee.

So... we don't want to be seen as a couple stingy types so we've reassessed the offer and now, you can choose any wood for your free lids and Big Stacker Fasteners regardless of the woods you've chosen for your layers.

Wishing you all a safe and happy weekend

Happy gaming

The Free Lids and Big Stacker Fastener Kickstarter Offer
over 2 years ago – Thu, Feb 24, 2022 at 06:11:09 AM

Hi there 👋

We've had a good few people ask us how the free Lid and free Big Stacker Fastener offer would work. It was a good question because we realised we hadn't quite worked that out  ourselves!

Thankfully we've given it some thought and have the answer for you, so...

Choose 4 layers – Get a FREE Card Slot or Recessed Lid

Choose 5 to 10 layers – Get a FREE Card Slot or Recessed Lid + a Big Stacker Fastener.

or..

Choose 3 to 6 Mid or Deep Trays Get a Recessed Lid + a Big Stacker Fastener

(if you chose, say, 4 mid/deep tray and 1 other layer, you would also get the free lid!)

Choose 11 to 20 layersGet 2 FREE Card Slot or Recessed Lid + 2 Big Stacker Fastener.

or...

Choose 7-12 Mid/Deep Trays Get 1 FREE Card Slot or Recessed Lid + 2 Big Stacker Fastener.

You'll get an extra FREE Card Slot or Recessed Lid + Big Stacker Fastener for 21-30, 31-40 layers or 13-18, 19-24 Mid Deep Trays etc etc.

I hope that makes sense! 🤯   If not and you have an idea of what layers and dishes you might like, feel free to emails us and we'll let you know what's for free!

You will be able to choose your lids and Big Stacker Fasteners in any woods that any of your layers are in. So for example, if you close 2 beech and 2 Zebrano layers in the pledge manager, you could choose either of those woods for your fee lid.

We are not sure if we can automate this in pledge manager, if not we will note the amount of layers and/or dishes you have kindly closen and email you to find out what woods you would like.

This offer will only be available for our Stackii Kickstarter campaign.

Just a couple of other things...

David, one of our backers (thanks David), pointed out that there was a glitch in our pledge calculator - the Big Stacker Fastener was incorrectly titled. And Timothy, another one of our backers (thanks Timothy), pointed out that the Low Dish was incorrecly titled. We've fixed these mishaps now - thanks guys!

New items!

I know you're already spoilt for Stackii layer choices but, sorry... we're going to be adding 2 more options on Monday! These we requests from people and we thought... you know what... good idea! So stay tuned!

All the best

Dimensions Update
over 2 years ago – Tue, Feb 22, 2022 at 11:53:32 AM

Good evening, or morning... or afternoon folks.

We had a few people ask if we could provide more dimensions for the Stackii layers in both metric and imperial. So, your wish is my command.

They would work out too small for you to read on the Kickstarter page unless they took up loads of room so I've added them to the price calculator page - if you click on the dimensions image on the page it will enlarge so you can see it better.

There's a link on the Kickstarter page under the original dimensions chart but you can also just see them by following this link

Happy Gaming!
